“ Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.” Joel 3:14
This verse should make every Christ follower tremble in fear. We have a great responsibility upon us. To be witnesses of the Good News of Jesus Christ and share His magnificent life-sacrifice with those around us.
Are We Doing Our Job?
Everyday life has become much more important than sharing Jesus with the world.
I’m a firm believer that the evil one uses life’s distractions as a tool to keep you from telling people about Jesus. But, can you really think of anything worse than watching someone you love or even someone you don’t care for spending eternity in hell?
Regardless of your daily responsibilities, I can’t think of one thing more important than sharing the Good News and snatching people from the grips of hell. This is our main call!
How then can we go about life as normal? Where are the Billy Grahams, Charles Spurgeons, or Smith Wigglesworths? Where are those who can’t sleep until they have touched someone with God’s Word? Why isn’t the fire within us burning up all the worldly trash the enemy is spitting out continuously? Sin is so blatant and of control. Why should you be ashamed of sharing a remedy?
If you love God like you say you do, shouldn’t everything about your life echo that?
People Are Hungering for It
As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that most people are very in touch with the emptiness inside them without Jesus. They realize that a relationship with their Creator is needed. Sometimes they hunger and thirst for something, yet have no knowledge of what and keep searching in all the wrong places.
Imagine and world where everyone was searching…
Now imagine a world where many are searching, but few have the Answer to that endless search. How angry would you be if you were the searching one and no one bothered to share the Remedy? Chew on that one today…
The awesomeness and grace of Our Good Father has given us the ability and another day to share this remedy.
All hope is not lost because that HOPE resides in you today.
Will you do your job? Will you help the many longing for HIM?
